Im tired of all the man that are not taking up the position that God has put upon them. the authority that they have not picked up. its frustrating, there is a difference from not knowing and stupidity, foolishness and ignorance.
Father you hear my cry, i desire to be the man that you have called and want me to be. Help me not compromise the things of this world and help me to be that example that will bring praise to you. Help me to be that man that you describe in the bible

SO yesterday i was having such an amazing day. When i got back to school it was sweet hung out with people and just relaxed. So i decided to go to church with a bunch of my friends and i tried to look for my keys and couldnt find it because i left it in the car when i got out. so im with out my dorm keys for a week.
anyways after there was this negative attitude that came over me and on the way to Bethel church. i was sooo cranky and all negative. i dont understand what happened to me all of a sudden because i was having such a good day and i felt that nothing could get me down.
So i got to church and the whole service i was just sooo “off” i could not concentrate during P&W and listening to the message was so hard - side note: the message i heard that morning at Champion Life Centre was very similar to the one i heard at Bethel church. so i was having all these negative thoughts about every area about my life, my attitude sucked (i was so out of it i didnt really know what was happening in the service) i was going crazy it was SOOO BAD
so i just began to pray and i wrote my prayers down in my journal. I just surrendered my mind and my thought to God because i believe that God will not give you negative thoughts that cause you to be confused and have anxiety. This is not of God because God will direct you and give you peace about things. but yeah after i prayed everything was gone …. WEIRD but yeah what came to my realization was that the enemy can you the littlest thing (in my case forgetting my keys) to throw you off.
But the most important thing i was reminded of is… “what are you going to do in that situation?” are you going to be all sad and mad and what not OR are you going to surrender your thoughts or your emotions to God and just let Him take control…?

When asked the question, “What would you say are young women most disillusioned with?”To me, the answer to that question is obvious: today’s young women are primarily disillusioned with guys. Girls grow up reading fairy tales and dreaming of Prince Charming, but by the time we get to sixth grade, we are presented with a standard of masculinity so shockingly below our ideal that we can’t help but become disillusioned and even dismayed. We’ve shrugged our shoulders and accepted the dismal fact that fairy tales are nothing more than childish, unrealistic dreams, so we sit around in discussion groups trying to cope with our disappointing reality.
But what if we can do something about it? What if fairy tales really are possible? What if we aren’t supposed to settle for such a dim outlook on love and romance?
As women, we have a far greater power over the course of masculinity than most of us realize. We can use our femininity to influence men toward strength or toward weakness. Unfortunately, most of us don’t use our feminine power correctly. We nag, criticize, complain, manipulate, and seduce, hoping that our self-built techniques will somehow work some magic and turn a frog into a prince. But when selfishness is our motivation for changing guys, we only end up fueling the problem and leading men into even greater weakness. So, what is God’s design for empowering femininity?
“…the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham calling him lord.” (1 Peter 3:4-6)
If you want guys to start acting more heroic, don’t label them, scorn them, or bash them. Believe that they can become something more. It is not having faith in a man, but in what our mighty, amazing, triumphant God can do in and through a man. Let your words bring life and encouragement, not sarcasm and disdain. As women, we are created to build men up, not tear them down.
It is not our job to change men. Only God can do that. Our job is to participate with God in bringing His desired change about - not through angry words or self-effort, but through diligent prayer and a Christ-like example.
